National Road Safety Week


K.K. Wagh Universal School, Saraswati Nagar, Celebrates National Road Safety Week
On 17th January 2025, K.K. Wagh Universal School, Saraswati Nagar, celebrated National Road Safety Week with great enthusiasm. The event aimed to spread awareness about the importance of road safety among students and staff.

The celebration began with a brief introduction by the Class Teacher of Grade III, emphasizing the significance of road safety and how adhering to traffic rules can save lives. Following this, the Grade III students actively participated by sharing 10 Golden Rules of Road Safety, which included:

1. Always wear a seatbelt while in a vehicle
2. Wear a helmet when riding a two-wheeler
3. Always use the zebra crossing while crossing the road
4. Follow traffic signals and rules.
5. Avoid using mobile phones while walking or driving.
6. Never overspeed and always drive within speed limits.
7. Keep a safe distance between vehicles.
8. Ensure proper use of indicators while turning.
9. Do not drink and drive.
10. Be vigilant and aware of your surroundings on the road.

The highlight of the event was when a Grade III student led the entire school in taking the National Road Safety Pledge. The pledge reinforced the commitment of students and staff to follow road safety norms and encourage others to do the same.

The program was a success, instilling valuable lessons in young minds and creating awareness about road safety as a collective responsibility.
