K.K. Wagh Universal School, Saraswatinagar, organized Field visit for Grade VII and VIII to K.K.Wagh College of Agricultural Engineering & Technology Nashik on 11th Sept.

Objectives of the Visit:
To gain practical knowledge of modern agricultural practices.
To explore the role of new technologies in farming.
To understand the research activities being conducted in agriculture.
To observe live demonstrations of sustainable farming methods.

Laboratory Visit:
The visit included a tour of the soil testing and plant pathology labs, where the students observed experiments on soil nutrients and methods to diagnose plant diseases.
*Hydraulic reversible ploughs, hydraulic reversible disc ploughs, tractor-mounted boom sprayers, and tractor-operated sprayers*
Such Various Implements and tools were Shown and their uses were explained to the student's
*Precision planter* used to plant crops that require accurate control of plant population.
*Threshing Machine* Used for separating grains from the harvested stalks and husks.
*Combine Harvester* a machine that combines three harvesting operations—reaping, threshing, and winnowing—into one process, used mainly for cereal crops like wheat and corn.
*Sickle* a handheld tool used for harvesting crops such as wheat and rice.
*Rotavator* a machine that combines plowing, harrowing, and leveling functions.

The visit provided valuable exposure to practical aspects of agriculture, beyond classroom learning. Students were particularly impressed with the integration of technology in farming.
The knowledge gained from observing research projects and sustainable farming techniques was highly beneficial for the Students academic growth.

The field visit to K.K.Wagh College of Agricultural Engineering & Technology Nashik was highly successful and educational. It provided the students with a holistic view of the agricultural sector and motivated them to consider future research and career opportunities in this field.
