K. K. Wagh Universal School

The much awaited Annual Sports Meet was held in K. K. Wagh Universal School Saraswatinagar on Thursday 26th Dec. 19 to Tuesday 31st Dec 19.

The fantastic turnout from the audience and the pleasant weather were the perfect boost for the students. They entered into the spirit of the occasion in a grand way with the penning of  Sport Meet by the special guest of the day,  Mrs. Kavita Raut, Indian long-distance runner. The Principal, Mrs.Amrit Rao & Mrs.Kavita Raut took salute of the impressive March Past of the students and the oath ceremony was held. Students have participated in Zumba, lazim and melodies instrumental music demo set the tone for the rest of the events.  

The young Athletes were cheered with tons of encouragement. Students of class I to X competed class wise in events including Tug of war, Potato race, Book Balance, Cricket Team Event, 30, 40, 70 & 100 meter running and One legged race, Kho-Kho team. Fun time with tug of war between the Teachers added to the enjoyment.

The day ended with our special guest, Mrs.Kavita Raut appreciating the Sports Teachers Mr.Manoj Porje and Mr.Prasad Dalvi, Prize distribution and congratulated the winners with Medals, Trophies and Certificates. She also appreciated the team of K. K. Wagh Universal School Teachers.
